I'm a computer science student at the University of Waterloo. I like solving problems which is why I love coding, and working on side projects! My goal is to learn a new framework/language each term.
Currently searching for software internships for fall 2022, winter 2023, and summer 2023!
My interests include Korean dramas 🇰🇷, romance anime 🌹, American football 🏈, cooking 🍳 and glossing over technologies ✨
I was recently a frontend engineer at Deloitte and an open source fellow at MLH Fellowship contributing to a Facebook Research project AugLy

  • Dropped 2 CS classes because I wasn't feeling confident about writing in-person midterms/finals
  • Rejected from MongoDB summit 2x, Pinterest Engage Scholars, Meta Data Challenge

  • Got rejected by Disney in 2hrs; new record
  • Failed to solve a follow up on a technical interview which I ended up solving a few days later
  • Summer internship search as of December 20, 2021 (204 applications, 11 OAs (all auto), 3 interviews)
  • Ghosted by Tech+ (in hindsight this was good though because this left me with choosing MLH Fellowship where I learned a lot)
  • Failed drivers test, passed on the second
  • Failed to host my fullstack project because I wasted so much time trying to find free places for domain names
  • Fall 2021 internship search: 95 applications, 7 interviews, 1 offer
  • Got rejected from Intern Hacks
  • Got rejected from contrary startup fair
  • Got rejected from grey lock
  • Got rejected from Blueprint (2x)

  • Got rejected from MLH Fellowship (2x, spring 2020 and fall 2020 cohort), I'm gonna apply soon again; (edit: I GOT IN THE THIRD TIME, FALL 2021 BATCH 4 BABY :)

  • Wasted $3000 because I thought I could live alone for 4 months but came to my parents' place after 1 month
